TimeSavers: World
The world of TimeSavers is primarily the modern-day San Diego area. However, there is the added world of the Fourth Dimension and the “worlds” of the historical times the kids visit on their missions.
The Fourth Dimension is a world built around the Time Stream. But unlike our world, it has time but no space, resulting in its communities moving in space several times a year and in a lack of natural gravity. The society of this Dimension is a very traditional one led by a council of elders and dictated by the will of the mysterious deity-like “Powers.” It has existed for millennia and is likely to exist for many more. The people of this Dimension are long-lived but not immortal, and some live different life spans than normal due to their positions in society; the aging of the Tempeos/Tempea and the Time Monitors is slowed once they take their positions, for instance. Also, each person has their job in the community, which is determined when one comes of age.
