Anime Angels
For a short time in 2006 and 2007, I was on the staff of a Christian anime/manga e-zine called Anime Angels. Unfortunately, the e-zine seems to have stopped publication; at least, they haven’t had an issue out since 2007. The issues are very well done, with full-color covers, impressively laid-out content, and some decent original manga for each issue. I wrote two articles for the e-zine and also submitted a first chapter for Darkly Bound (my current work-in-progress) as it stood in 2007, all under the alias Misty Waterflower (which is erroneously printed as “Misty Waterlily” on the covers of two of the issues I have content in).
You can find the released copies of the e-zine here. My content appears in issues 8, 10, and 11. (Somehow I didn’t get something submitted in time for issue 9). All three of those issues are available for sale on Lulu or as free PDF downloads on that page.
